Who I Am

Change is constant in life.  Most of the time I like change.  I find it refreshing.  It could be because I get bored easily, or maybe I'm always looking for something better.  I've had a strong desire for change recently.  I also have the feeling that there are big changes in store for my family over the next year or so.  Between the far off changes and my desire to embrace change, I'm found myself on a journey to find myself.

I think for too long I've depended on the title of "Army wife" to define who I am.  Sure, my husband is in the Army and that affects our life, but being an Army wife really doesn't describe who I am.  I have never experienced the typical Army wife life anyway.  There is so much more of me to share than that.

So now I'd like to spend some time exploring who I am, and that includes who I am through my blog.  I hope you sit back and read along as I embrace change, find myself, and evolve.

One of the first changes that is pretty obvious to notice is my blog look.  I know I've been changing it with some frequency now.  When I came across Kim's 733 Custom Blog Design and saw the portfolio, I was in love.  I instantly knew I needed her to do my blog.  I thought a new blog design to usher in all the changes coming in both my outlook and life would be really appropriate.  I am so proud of how my new blog looks, and Kim deserves a big thanks for that.

oh, it's pretty. And I know what you mean about not letting the army wife role define you. As stressful as it is, there is a comfort in knowing you are part of THAT group. It's so comfortable at times that it can keep you from doing things you should do ;)
