Yesterday was a rough day, but in the grand scheme of things it wasn't too bad. It was just filled with several mishaps. Here are the things that went wrong yesterday (and I put a few comments with them):
*Broke a full length mirror yesterday. (7 years bad luck?)
*Got the boys' hair cut yesterday, and they buzzed Sean's hair super short. (They buzzed Sean's hair way shorter than Ryan's. It isn't a big deal, but I do like the kids to have similar haircuts. Instead my baby has short hair and my older one has the normal length, which I just think is weird.)
*Everyone looked at me like I had six heads at the grocery store. (I'm not sure why everyone looked at me funny. Maybe it was senior citizen day and I stuck out? I mean I was dressed in real clothes, the boys were dressed, and they sat and behaved in the little car attached to the cart. What more could anyone ask for? Please people, stop staring.)
*Accidentally locked one of the dogs outside. I didn't realize our beagle was outside when I shut the house up to go run errands. Poor Bailey was locked outside on the cold 28 degree day. Thankfully the sun was out for him.
*Bailey (from above incident) jumped on me and got mud all over my sweater. (Payback for being locked out?)
*Dogs ate the Donut Holes. (When I got home I was taking off my boots. Ryan had climbed over the gate to the kitchen. When he did that he stepped on a bag and the donut holes box opened. The dogs devoured them. So I paid money for donuts we'll never eat and then had to make other plans for breakfast.)
*Sean was super fussy in the afternoon. (Screaming and crying child, maybe teething--enough said.)
*Forgot to switch over the laundry last night. (At least I remembered before I had to wash it again though.)
But despite all these mishaps, I did have a couple good things happen yesterday.
*Found out Peppermint-Mocha Coffee-mate is now available year round. (My wish has been granted!)
*Got to spend the day with these awesome boys:
and that makes it a good day!

Oh my gosh, Sean looks so grown up!!
Girl, we ALL have those bad days!
And, everyone was staring at you b/c of how gorgeous you are with two adorable little boys! Feel proud!
We seriously need to plan a get together trip. What do you think??
Shelly,
I get super self-conscious when people stare at me too! They were staring because they wondered how a good looking momma kept her two littles under control!
I hope you get some more donut holes! Those sound yummy!
I think they were staring because they haven't seen such well behaved children in a long time! They can be a rarity these days:)
