Have you ever had some things going on in your life that you weren't quite ready to share with your blog?
That is what is going on here. I have a few things in life that are taking over my brain and my heart, but the time to share them on this blog just isn't right yet. That's why I've kind of gone MIA from the blog world. I never intended to stop blogging, and I really do plan to come back to it. However, I feel like I'm being fake if I try to write like normal and am avoiding an elephant in my reality.
But there are some things I WANT to blog about, like my upcoming (BIG!) birthday, my Ry-Ry's 4th birthday!, maybe even our holiday plans.
So I guess I just want to say I haven't forgotten about my blog. It's not that I don't care about it or all of you that take the time to stop by here. I just need a bit of time to sort some things out and then I promise you'll hear all about it.

I've been thinking of you! I hope things calm down for you and once you're ready to blog again, you will have people ready to give support. Take care!
I think everyone fakes it in the blog world at some point or another. It's ok. I firmly believe that some matters are just private and that is alright. I hope all is well!
I hope all things calm down soon for you. Take all the time you need, your readers will be here when you get back! Thinking about you!
I hope things work out well for you...Enjoy those events coming up :)
I can relate to being MIA because there are things in your brain that you aren't ready or able to share... happened to me last spring and lately since Jess's death last month I really haven't had it in me to blog much. Hope everything is ok - will keep you in my prayers!
Like Alison said, there are lots of things that just aren't bloggable. While I'm true and honest on my blog, I'm also a very private person in lots of ways.
I get in that place, too. I'm there right now, in fact. What works for me (if you're looking for something like that) is to just pick some light-hearted moments and blog about those occasionally. I choose to think of it as giving myself time to focus on the positives, not as being fake. Plus, I don't necessarily write for my readers. I write for me, too!
Hope things look up soon.
