a little more

I promise I'll be blogging about more than I have in the recent posts soon.

Ryan is feeling better.  Leah seems better too, although at her age it's hard to tell.  Sean so far is still in the clear although he's said he has a tummy ache a few times today so we'll see.

Unfortunately, Pat got sick last night.  I don't know if it is a man thing, or just my husband, but when he's sick the sounds he makes are CRAZY.  It's like a whole forest of animals howling at once when he's getting sick.  Yowzers!

One thing I am desperate to get back to is taking pictures.  I haven't been using my camera almost at all, and that makes me sad.  Hopefully in the next few days I can start posting some more photos and really writing again.

Vomit

Two of my kids ended up sick last night. Just before dinner we were headed out to the store. No sooner than we pulled into the parking lot Leah vomited on herself. I told my husband to turn around and that we would go home. I ran in to the house to find a clean sleeper for the baby while my husband got the kids out of the car. Ryan walked straight to the bathroom once inside because he told us he needed to go potty. And then he vomited all over the bathroom.

And that is just how the night began.

Ryan vomited in his bed just before midnight. Leah was sleeping peacefully in my bed. Well that is until she vomited all over my face. Yup you read that right. I called Pat up to help. He brought me a towel and proceeded to rub the breast milk vomit all around my face. He wasn't wiping it off but rather rubbing it around. Then when we were changing Leah's clothes again she vomited down into my shirt. Clearly I have tons of laundry to do today.

I was also reminded about something important that I don't have at this house yet. We only have one mattress pad for our bed. And since the two vomiting children were in and out of my bed all night I ended up sleeping on a bunch of towels over vomit for the little time I slept. You know you are a mom when vomit doesn't phase you anymore.

Ryan is still getting sick today, and Leah just doesn't seem to be feeling great either. I am really hoping this is a 24 hour bug. I hate seeing my kiddos sick and not being able to fix it. Here's hoping there is no more vomiting, especially on my face.

Bloggers, help me out...

For the past three days, I've been trying to clean out the list of blogs I've started following over the years.  Half of the blogs are inactive, some I just don't read anymore, and it makes it very hard for me to keep up with the actual blogs I like.  It won't let me load the blogs I follow manager.  It says it cannot load my FriendConnect data and try back later.

I have edited my google reader 3 times and every time I come back to it, ALL the blogs I just unsubscribed to are back.  I tried moving things around so the ones that I want to follow are separate, but then it went right back to the original set up again.

I've spent an hour trying to figure this out, but I'm frustrated and out of time.  I'm also a little computer illiterate, so that that probably doesn't help.

Any ideas on what I should do?  I just want to create a list of the blogs I read, but my current list is way too cluttered and won't seem to let me organize it or delete from it.

I think bloglovin' may be what I need to help me organize the blogs I follow.
